Our Extended Day Programs
Beacons’ Before and After School daycare Program is fully licensed and registered with the Ministry of Education.
Children will be engaged in educational games and activities including parachute play, dramatic play, songs, stories, organized sports, crafts, and science experiments.
Activities will be planned based on the Elect model and will compliment current curriculum being taught in the school system.
'Before- and After-School in Beacons Creche & Preschool’ serves children in JK through grade 6. Before-school programming hours are 7:15-8:30am, after-school programming hours are 3:00-6:00pm, all on school days of the OCDSB and OCSB calendar. Parents have the option of registering for mornings, afternoons – or both! Fees are prepaid to the BCP on a monthly basis.
This licensed childcare program is part of the Canada Wide Early Learning & Child Care (CWELCC) initiative of the federal and provincial governments to reduce daycare fees for eligible children.
PA Day Programs
The BCP offers quality programming – that means fun – during PA Days!
We follow the PA Days identified in the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB) and OCSB calendar. Families may select core day participation (8:30am-3:00pm) and / or extended hours (7:15-8:30am; 3:00-6:00pm).
Spaces are limited. JK to grade 6.
Note: parents of children not currently registered in Beacons Creche & Preschool' must review the Parent Handbook before attending and fill out a registration form for our Before and After School programme.
